RV
Hey, I found something interesting but I'm too lazy to put it in the article:
- The song RV is very similar to the Super Mario theme for underwater levels.
- Mike Patton's first band, Mr. Bungle, made a instrumental medley of Super Mario themes (including the underwater one).
Shouldn't that be included?

- it seems like an interesting point for a trivia section, are there any sources for it? or is it original research? Balthazar (talk) 02:19, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Smaller and Smaller
The trivia section is mistaken. I saw FNM play with GnR & Metallica at the CNE Grandstand in Toronto. Smaller and Smaller was played.
As the linked page states 'The numbers that indicate how often they've played each song are obviously not correct. They are just based on all the set-lists I have collected so far. They've played a lot more shows and I'm sure they've done more cover songs, but this page gives you an overview of what songs they've done so far. It's just for fun.'
Why are links to fan pages considered encyclopedic? Tomb of the conqueror ffxv. wbm 08:06, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well there's no other documented sources to go off, id suggest either changing it to 'according to the bla bla stats bla' or just removing it. Balthazar (talk) 02:19, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Synthesizer sounds?

GA nomination failed
I've sorry, but I've had to fail this article's good articlenomination. Below are some notes on how to improve the article. I also suggest you look at some GA album articles, or ask on my talk page if you need more help and assistance. Cheers, —Dihydrogen Monoxide 07:30, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
The lead should note the exact (date/month/year) release date.- The link to 1992 in music is generally not needed
- 'To this day it is still held in very high regard as one of the most influential records of the '90s, with Kerrang! magazine naming it number one in the fifty most influential albums of all time.' - This statement needs a citation
- 'It is a complex and at times hard to approach album.' - This isn't very neutral and should be reworded/sourced/removed
- 'it was here when he began to influence the band's sound.' - Citation needed
- 'The unusual moments arguably make the album unique amongst the band's output.' - We shouldn't be arguing or attempting to promote content - the article should only contain stuff verifiable by reliable sources. If a source argues this, then you can state it (and cite it) in a neutral manner
- '(a truly odd song; piano-driven and in waltz-time)' - Again, not neutral. It also appears to be original research if it's not verifiably by a reliable source
- 'Fans still consider this album to be Faith No More at their finest.' - This will need multiple verifications
'which hit it big in the UK, Australia, and Europe' - 'hit it big' isn't really encyclopediac prose, perhaps reword to 'was highly successful'- 'But everywhere else it matched or outsold The Real Thing, especially in the UK, South America and Europe' - Same comment as above. Also, a citation is needed.
'In the UK, with little promotion the album went straight to #2 in the Chart Albums and Faith No More had two UK top 10 hits with 'Midlife Crisis' peaking at #10 and their biggest hit, 'Easy', at #3, making Angel Dust a chart success.' - Citations needed for the charts data.- Most of the sources come from Faith No More's website - this can be biased and thus probably not a reliable source
- 'Official songwriting credits revealed by Billy Gould in an email, 2004.' - You can't cite 'an email' - it needs to have been published online or in a book, so that it can be verified
- The article needs several new sections, including stuff on recording and background, on release details, any information about touring and concerts for the album, and one on critical reception. These are visible in most GA album articles, for instance look at Internationalist (album) (which I've been working on recently to try and get to featured status) or Vulture Street (which is a GA candidate)
- Only releases after 29 January 1993 feature the Commodores' cover, 'Easy', which in some parts of the world was Faith No More's most successful single..Only Japanese releases feature the rerecording of 'As the Worm Turns' from the bands first album We Care a Lot.' - Both statements need citations
- As per our footnotes guidelines, footnotes usually are located right after a punctuation mark, such that there is no space in between. For example, answers on the CD lasting 18:41[1]. is usually written as answers on the CD lasting 18:41.[1]'
- The 'Track Notes' section could be considered a trivia section, and could thus be tagged with {{trivia}} - these should be avoided.
The stuff in the 'chart' section needs citations so that the data can be confirmed - the best way to find these citations is to ask yourself where you got the information from in the first place!
Thanks for your work on the article so far - it's appreciated. The article isn't quite ready for GA status yet, but I'm sure with a bit more work it would be at that level soon. Writing GAs is hard - it took my four attempts to have my first album GA (Dream Days at the Hotel Existence) passed, and now it's a featured article! If you need any help with these notes, or with any other aspects of the article, please don't hesitate to ask me, and I'll do my best to assist. CD and LP section contains multiple errors.
The CD and LP sections have multiple factual errors. For instance (LP) Polvo Du Angel was Argentinian, not Brazilian, and the limited edition interview CD came with an early reissue of the album, not an early copy (source FNM official discography in their official biography). The cassette section, outside my expertise probably suffer from a similar problem. The error ratio for the release versions section is roughly 25%. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AD828321 (talk • contribs) 11:40, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

MidLife Crisis
Trust me its 'MidLife Crisis' with a capital L. On the CD version, on Rock Band 3, and on any commercially sold form of the song its 'MidLife Crisis' not 'Midlife Crisis'. Mrmoustache14 (talk) 01:08, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Uhdt7UHnA3w/S-Bn_UC0-NI/AAAAAAAAAvQ/fAAocJihfAM/s1600/Angel+Dust+back.jpg That's pretty irrefutable. Changing it back.lastanzabianca
Well on my copy of Angle Dust its capitalized, also on RB3 its capitalized.. also this: http://991.com/newGallery/Faith-No-More-Midlife-Crisis-6045.jpgMrmoustache14 (talk) 02:12, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
That image you posted is copyright 1990. The song and the album weren't released until 1992. If valid, it was probably a typographical error. Rock Band 3 is not an official release from the band. All media, from the album's tracklisting, to song listings in media with MTV, Billboard listings, etc. spell the song as 'Midlife Crisis' with a lower case 'L.' If you make the revision again I will consult with a member of the band for confirmation.
Official track listings on various media list the song as either 'Midlife Crisis' or 'MIDLIFE CRISIS' (as per the official single release). Seecamp serial number chart. Listings as consumer/critic sites as Amazon.com, Allmusic.com, RollingStone.com, list the song as 'Midlife Crisis' with a lower case L.
An official billboard listing (in 'Buzz Bin')
If you can post a picture of your record with the alternate spelling, then the song will need to be listed as 'Midlife Crisis/MidLife Crisis' due to it being released with alternate typography in different regions. 50.109.0.150 (talk) 04:20, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Angel Dust Faith No More Zip Codes
---After looking into this further, I'm sorry to say that the majority of sources released from Slash/Reprise and the band list the song as 'Midlife Crisis' Can you please fix all of the changes you made to the various track listings and records? This is a pretty glaring error and we don't want to mislead people with the typography of the song. I'm willing to open this up to someone else for confirmation. 50.109.0.150 (talk) 04:28, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Fine. I guess I can change them back even though I was pretty sure it had a capital L. I know when I'm beat.. 1 problem.. It kind of well.. moved the Midlife Crisis song page to MidLife Crisis and it won't let me change it back.. Mrmoustache14 (talk) 19:37, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
